About VTT
WebVTT (.vtt) is the W3C captioning format for the HTML5 <track> element and web video. It builds on SubRip with cue settings for on-screen positioning, voice/speaker tags and CSS-class styling, and its timecodes use a period before the milliseconds (00:00:00.000), where SRT uses a comma.
